M-80 references needed...

Don’t know if any of you even know what this is. It’s the MBT of the former Yugoslavian army. It was a vehicle that I believe was based either on the T-72 or T-80, with indigenous targeting and other systems. I’m planing (hoping that is) to convert a T-72 into one, but I’m at a serious lack of any references.
Anyone able to help?
Thanks!

T-80 is based on the T-72 chassis. Very similar in appearace to the T-72. Main difference noticed right off is the added armor around the turret ring. If you would like, I have about 45 pictures of it. Give me your info on how you want it, and I can WinRAR it and send to you…

Got the pics. Just what I needed. Thanks a lot for the help [:D]

Glad they work for ya! Let me know if you need any more. I have pretty much every tank Russia has made from pre-WW2 to present.

Also a HUGE collection of Israeli stuff and many pics from other nations.

WHen you say every tank, what exactly do you mean?
Do you have only tank pics or any soviet afv?

Concord puts out a book “The Balkans on Fire, Nighmare in Yugoslavia” that has some good shots of the M-80. As far as I can tell, the M-80 is an APC similar in appearance to the russian BMP. Are you talking about the M-84?

That is what I was thinking too. However, I found a russian site that had a huge collection of armor and there was an M-80 Russian tank. Both modern and WW2 ish…

Oh well, …

Yes, sorry, both of you are correct. It is the M-84 I am referring to.

BTW, Scorn, do you have any worthwile pics of the MT-LB prime mover, or the AT-AT tractor?

Try this site for good russian armor reference pictures.

I build a lot of russian armor so I try to find as many good photos as possible. It can be tough.
