LST-325, the last surviving operational LST is at MMA and open for tours. She will be pierside June 4,5,6,7. Tours are available Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday from 09:00-17:00. The Academy is located in Buzzards Bay, MA.

I just had the tour this afternoon, an excellent experience. The good news is the ship will be in Boston for a couple weeks before going to Gloucester for a few days before returning south.
This wonderful ship was at one time here in Alabama. It most likely would have stayed, but, the local counties and state legislature would not help out with money to keep her in the state. An effort was started to try and keep her here but failed. What a great addition to the USS Alabama Battleship park in Mobile. Goodluck to her new surroundings…we miss her greatly. Take good care of her.
