Lotus Super Seven

Hi all, I have a couple of questions about the Tamiya Lotus Super Seven kit. I was wondering if anyone knows if it has a convertible top and side curtains in it, what would it take to make it a Caterham and finally could someone give me a review on this kit. Any help is appreciated thanks. Joe

Which scale are you talking about? I have the 24th and it doesn’t have the top etc.

Hi Nicholma, yes the 1/24 kit. No top though eh? What does it build like though?

Very easy, typical Tamiya if you throw all the parts in the air its likely to come down built!

HA HA HA HA…!!!
Had that thought myself, but with another twist.
Cut loose the parts.
Throw them back into the box.
Squeeze some glue in and put on the lid.
Shake for a while.
…and voila! A new kit to put on the shelf.
With some practice you could even poor in some paint and get a custom paint job.

Can’t give you any feedback on the super 7 as I still have to build one, there always seems to be some other kit that draws my attention so it still sits at the LHS.
