Lottery win

I’d have to place a P-47, a Hawker Hurricane and an FW 190 on the front lawn. If the neighbors didn’t like it, I’d buy their homes and sell them only to fellow wingnuts, or treadheads, or basically anyone with a passion for model building. Who needs pink flamingos or lawn trolls…got something mo betta!!!

First thing I’d have to do is go out and get a Bugatti Veyron. I love this car.

And a modest house with a modeling room and a big garage for my new Bugatti and a motorcycle or two.
After that, probably persuing a pilot’s liscense and hunting down an f4u or f6f to fly around.

Do you think the US Gov’t will sell me an M1A2?

About the same time they sell me a B-1B to fly to work. Hey, I figure I’ve paid a few million dollars in taxes by now to the government, the least they can do is give me a plane in return!

ooh! I know!

I’ll move in across the road from Sherm and park a Jagdpanther on the lawn…[:-,]

Well, I can already see that you all need bigger lawns!!![:D][swg]

Well . . . The yard is hers and the basement is mine - But the garage and the airport are also mine - How about a Sherman painted metal flake blue w/white racing stripe (and street legal) in the garage - At the airport how about an Fi-156? (Know a fellow how thinks he has enough pieces and parts to put at least 2 of them together)

I couldn’t decide between a B-17G and an F4F-3 Wildcat. So how about both.[:D]

A Panther G and Tiger II, Spitfire XI and FW 190, might as well through in a 69 Camaro SS. Gonna need a bigger hanger, I mean garage. [:D]

“It is well that war is so terrible, lest we grow too fond of it.”-R.E.Lee

I would get a M2A3 bradley. Fast, agile, able to carry heavy loads, and packs a punch. just for short visits to my relatives i would restore a foce wulf Fw 190 or a blackhawk helicopter for shorter trips like to school.

i’d go nuts and by the museum thats selling all its stuff…

such as 105mm Howziter

and a 37 mm AT Gun

… oh and the willys jeep and scorpion tank … [:-^]

yeah, i wouln’t be able to control myself and would just end up buying the whole museum … [;)]

First, I’d buy myself out of where I am and over to where I want to be.

Second, I’d build a concrete patio and get an Avro Vulcan to use as the awning.

I want a Batmobile! (1966 vintage, of course!)[:D]

If I won the lottery?
I’d put a fully working A-6E TRAM Intruder(sans the nuke panel, so that I could legally own it) on my front lawn(so that’d have easy access to the runway-err-street!), and a fully working F-105D Thunderchief/ThunderstickII LORAN on my back lawn!
Oh, yeah, and I’d become the spokesman for Bare-Metal Foil, thus securing a lifetime supply!

You know the wife and I talk about this quite frequently…were some what realistic about the whole thing though…We dont play here in FL unless it gets up over 15-20mill…

  1. Pay off the house!
    2)Pay off the boat!
3)Give all my employees a nice well deserved bonus!
4)Set some money aside for an Australian Vacation! I have always wanted to go…so does the wife!
5)Pay off any outstanding business debt!
6)Pay off the 2 vehicles which still have notes
Other than that…We would set aside a nice healthy bit for retirements and set some up in a safe account that might incures low interest but wouldnt be at risk…
As far as whats left over…well I dont know I hoard/save money not model kits so I would probably have the rest set aside in something accruing interest…

AC Shelby Cobra, and my Vosper PT boat…

yah, I could stand a shelby cobra. i know where to get one too, my uncle makes them. one of the cobras he made was in one of the automotive magazines. other than that, I’d have to get a couple of WWII AFVs. some AFV that would be street legal. (probably a more modern armored car.) other than that, I wonder how much it would cost to set up your own model company??? [:p][;)]

Hmmmm…my cousin and her husband already won a million so the chances of it happening in our family twice is kinda slim. However should it happen, my garage would be extremely crowded for there would be an original 427 AC Shelby Cobra, a hemi 'Cuda / Challenger, 1969 Boss 302 Mustang and a 1975 455SD Trans Am.

Then of course I’d have an attorney in a little hut near the front door to shoo away or launch legal proceedings against all the greedy money-grubbers who’ll no doubt be beating a path to my front door wanting a share of the windfall.

I’ve found something else to add to my list:

Hmmm, an if money were no object…
I’d live in a house of my own, with a lovely wife (just a lovely gf now  with a pool, a driving range, a shooting range, a small lake, a hobby room seemingly endless with shelf space for displays (all covered in acrylic cases of course)
A nice mclaren F1 in the garage along with some Benzes…
sniff oh, how life is a tease…
