Lottery win

[:p][:p] Okay I have your attention. Well, you win the Lottery. Instead of having it in your model cabinet. What would you have on the front lawn??? I ask because a TV presenter in England Jeremy Clarkson,He does a motoring show but has also visited the Nimitz and been Cat-shotted off her in a Viking has bought himself a defunct English Electric Lightning for his front garden!!! He loves speed and gets to drive disgustingly expensive exotic cars and gets paid for it.No justice, hey.[:(]

Besides a spanking new Td5 110 defender (G4, maybe? Hmmm…) I’ll have… eh… I’ll have… Umm…

Crepe… I’ll have to get back to you on that…

The Valkyrie will do nicely.

Hmmmmm … a Sherman in the garage … I like this thought. [swg][swg]

Guess I better concentrate on the garage first though. [sigh]

If money was no object, I’d be driving a McLaren F1. Since money is an object, oh well…

I’d build a historically accurate, flying replica of a Bristol F2.b Fighter – a two-seater so I could take my wife up sight-seeing. She could also cover my back.

Regards,

-Drew

Would anyone expect anything less from you? What about two – a his and hers.

Just one will do … my wife just doesn’t seem to understand the beauty of the armoured vehicle. [;)][;)][;)]

Id have a fully working Kingtiger

A tank would be fun but a '69 Dodge Charger with a Hemi 427 up front would be easier to park. Either that or a '67 Corvette convertible with a big block 400.[:D][:P] For fun, one of those bikes from American Chopper. The blues bike that Mikey built.[8D] That’s for on the ground. For above, a Srearman PT-17 or a DeHavilland Tiger Moth. For offshore, a nice 56 foot cutter but that won’t go very well in the driveway. The rest of the lotto winnings I would give to the poor.

A Spitfire V trop, Catalina or DC-3 will all do for me

Well if it was just a garden piece like the Lightning you talk of I would probably put a B-17G in the yard. I think it would make for a good conversation piece.

[:)]Hi all,

if I had the cash and the room I’d have spitfire as my very own gate guardian just like the one at RAF Uxbridge. That would be so cool…[:D][:D][:D][:D]

How 'bout a mini-van with a 1,590 hp Packard V-1659-7 Merlin liquid cooled 12 cylinder engine(in plain terms, the engine from the P-51). Or a P-38 with rocket assist so it could take off in your yard. I am starting to like my ideas…[}:)]. Everyone buy a lottery ticket… one of us is likely to win something[}:)]

I’m actually wanting to restore a Wills Jeep if I can find one. I need to spend less time looking for one and more looking at my driver’s manual or it won’t matter!!! I won’t have a license to drive it.

Too easy!!! This is what I want http://www.stormbirds.com/project/index.html [:p]

I would put a new garage in the front yard so I could park a retsored P51 Mustang and GeeBee racer.

Sorry Paul, I have to totally disagree with this statement.

You can park a tank any old place you want, even on a '69 Dodge Charger.[;)][;)]

I would have a wide range of WWII jeeps, trucks, tanks and a whole lota land to drive them around on. [:D]

oh yea, I would have to have a stable for the wife to put her horse in[V] In case you couldn’t guess me and the wife have had this discussion[:)]

Hmm…how about a well defended trench system to defend me from the hordes of people who would come crawling out of the gutters wanting some of my money. [:-,]
