Looking for small-scale/1/72 AFV accessories/stowage

I have a lot of 1/72 and 1/76 WW2 military vehicles, both unbuilt kits and old models
(which I built years ago), and many of them could really do with extra
detail such as stowage items, pioneer tools, flexible MGs, tarpaulins, fuel cans, track links etc.

However, whilst I have several bags full of 1/35 accessories, tools etc. in my spares box - some left over from kits, others bought on Ebay or at model shows - I have hardly any small-scale parts, just a few odd kit leftovers.

1/35 accessory sets (tools, stowage, weapons etc.) are widely available at most model shops, and are made by several manufacturers including Academy, Tamiya and Italeri.
But do any manufacturers make similar accessory sets in the smaller scales?

Verlinden makes a set of 1/72 scale modern accessories. Goffy Model and Legends do as well. CMK is another.

ExtraTech is another company that carries 1/72 scale detail sets too.

Academy also makes a couple of ground vehicle sets that includes extra fuel drums, Jerry cans and various ammo crates. The first set includes a us jeep and german kubel and ketterand while the second set includes a US 2.5 ton truck. They also just released a german fuel truck and schwimwagon with bomb cart. Don’t know if they included any accessories with that one but they probably did.

There is generally a real lack of good quality 1/72 accessories given the large number of 1/72 scale figure sets out there. Part of the problem is those sets are all released in soft vinyl plastic so the figures are molded in with their weapons and tools. There are some figure sets which include some accessories but they are few and far between. I suggest taking a look at this site http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/ if you wish to search out some of those sets.

Have a look here.

They sell most 1/72nd scale accessories avalible in the UK. I’ve found them very helpful in the past, send them an e-mail if you cant see what your after on the website.

Thanks for the info.
PDI Model Supplies seems to have a very comprehensive selection, I’ll definitely bookmark this page for future reference. As I suspected, though, most or all of them are “aftermarket” type products and are a bit out of my price range - I don’t really like spending £5-6 on a small handful of resin bits. (Though in this case, I really don’t have much choice, considering there are no mass-produced small-scale accessory sets like there are in 1/35 and now 1/48)

I might have a look at the Academy vehicle set, at around £5 for 3 vehicles + accessories it’s certainly value!
I’ve already got more than enough Jeeps, but don’t have a small-scale Kettenkrad, and could do with another Kubelwagen.

Here are a couple more sites to help you out.
