Looking for Old Revell, Monogram kits

Does anyone remeber the 1/32 scale “working” P51by Monogram or the 1/32 scale Revell P40 Warhawk.

Where can you find old kits, ebay?

I whish they’d bring those kits back. They were pretty decent.

I do remember the32nd Mustang, and have one of the 50th Ann. reissues of that one, the Phantom Mustang with clear fuselage and wings. You may still be able to find this one here and there.

The Revell 32nd P-40 has been reissued many times over the years and can still be found fairly easily. It may still be in the catalog, but I’m not 100% sure about that.

And evilBay is a good place to find old kits sometimes, but just be careful not to get too caught up in the bidding. Sometimes it gets outta hand! LOL

Also, what you just did, making this post and asking the question itself can sometimes garner a response. I have a few collectible boxings of the P-40’s, but unfortunately I’m not looking to unload any at the moment.

Fade to Black…

I have three Revell 1/32 scale kits, P-40E, P-47D Razorback and P-51B I’d be willing to part with. The P-40E has the kit decals plus Super Scale decals for J.D Landers “Texas Longhorn” and Joe Kruzel’s “Dragon Flight”. The P-47D’s kit decals are for “Bonnie” flown by Bill Dunham and P-51B kit decals are for Don Gentile’s “Shagri La”.

I’m asking $75.00 including shipping for the lot . If your intrested you can e-mail me at commercedestroyer@yahoo.com

Matt,
I have found all my old 1/32 kits through Ebay, just keep looking I am sure it will show up.

Didn’t the P-40E and Spitfire have retractable landing gear? It has been so long since I built one of the old RM 1/32 kits, I can’t remember. About three years ago, I gave my Grandchildren the Hawker Typhoon and P-47D “Razorback” that I had for so long. It was a good kit for them as they were just begining.

Thanks gang. Actually I have looked at Revell’s site but none are there.

Mitch I’ll give that some serious thought

Scratch the P-40E , have sold it. Still have P-51B and P-47-D. They are on E-Bay.

Under what search terms would you look under in ebay?? Whenever I have tried plastic models, I usually just get 1 or 2 auctions…is there a big section somewhere I am missing?

Try a UK company - modelsforsale.com. Prices are good and they seem to have a good stock range. depending on where you are for the postage cost’s it could work out cheaper than ebay.

Go to e-bay main page, click on Browse, scroll down to Toys & Hobbies, click on models, then click on the sub categorie on left- Air, Military etc. These will take you to your area of intrest.
