I recently built a Do335 that I custom mixed the paints for and I have enough left over for another model, so I figured I would use the Revellogram Bf109 G-10 as a base. I am looking for a 109 profile that is in these colors. I am pretty sure somewhere along the way I have seen some late ware 109s that were painted in these colors. I also figure the G-10 could stand in for a K model as neither had the pronounced breech covers on the nose guns. For reference here is a pic of the Dornier and what colors I am talking about. Most likely RLM 81 and RLM 82 but I know there is tons of debate and disagreement on these colors.
No Rlm 81 and 82 on a 109 early G, Not in 1943. Not too many 109s in the rlm 82 light green scheme. I would suggest a late fw190dora, lots of those in 81, 82.
I have found at least 2 potential candidates from it, both are K-4s and in my opinion for what I intend this model for a G-10 can stand in for a K-4. I am still open to other options if anybody has a link to them. It will probably be a few weeks before I build this. The 109G-10 or K-4 part is fixed in stone since I already have the kit.
