Looking for a 1/32 or bigger M 107 SelfPropelled Howitzer kit

Does any one know where i can find a 1/32 or bigger kit of a Vietnam Era M107 Self Propelled Howitzer. I have been looking for a little while now and havent seen one. My father served on one and i have PLENTY of photos, but no kit to start with.

The only one out there is the 1/35 scale (most common scale for armor models) M107 from Italeri. They recently reissued it, so it should be readily available.

Great Models Webstore shows it as in stock.

thanks, looking into it

got another question for you. any idea if there are any photoetched sets/ aftermarket parts for that model or the M 107 in general?

First of all, Welcome [#welcome]

If I can recall correctly, they don’t amke a 1:32 scale. You might be combining 1:35 scale and 1:72 scale. As for the tank, I can’t really help you, I don’t tend to leave the WWII era.

woops. I totally missed Heavy Arty’s text. sorry

Not sure on the PE (I don’t use PE, waste of money if you ask me), but check Eduard, they seem to have just about every model covered. Also look for M110 PE sets. It is the same chasis and cradle with an 8" (210mm) barrel as opposed to the M107’s 175mm barrel. An M110 PE set would work just as well on an M107.

I have a big 1:1 scale m107 in my backyard… (it’s infront of a VFW Post across the street)

be interested in buying that?

i would love to LOL. Now wouldnt that make a hell of a fathers day present. Here dad, heres this model i made for you of you old gun. oh yea you got a real one parked outside!!
