Here she is for your review, from MPM this is the multi media vac kit is 1/48 scale of the Tupolev SB-2 M-103 Little Katie. I scratch built most of the interior cockpit/bombardier areas as well as the inside of the top and bottom gun positions. All the crew members (3) were modified from the spares box. The clear pieces were fogged right from the start and no amount of Future was going to fix that.
These first two shots were ‘blue screened’
That bubble gun turret was a two piece assembly that gave me all sorts of trouble
Whew, what a job that was. Now maybe I can get back to my 1/48 J7W2 conversion - something easy, don’t ya know.
That thing is beautiful. I don’t wanna know how many years it will be till I can model that good. Keep up the awesome work Swanny!

While I was shooting this my youngest boy came home with one of his friends - the friend asked how long I had been building these. I was just slightly embarresed to say how many years there have been in this hobby.

Thanks for all the comments guys. After nearly four months to the day of working on this all I could do last night was sit in my chair and watch as the air currents slowly rotated her while hanging from the ceiling. It’s almost a sad feeliing not having her on the work table anymore. She certainly does look different hanging with all the big bombers.
