Little Batman Figure

Calling it done - Little Batman produced by Resin Maniacs. 1/12 scale 3D print. Painted with acrylics and weathered with oils. The plaid shorts were hand-painted with lots of masking using Aizu 0.4 and 0.7mm tape. Painted the boots to look like Converse High Tops and added custom Converse logo decals.

Very nice! I love the shorts, impressive paint job. I’m always jealous of people who can do figurines, I think my skillset would make them look too 2-dimensional and cartoonish. This looks great!

I’ve gotta tell ya Rob…I didn’t see that one coming BUT…this turned out exceptionally well. You sure have quite the imagination brother. :+1:

Absolutely amazing! Well done!

Love the paintwork on the shorts…kind of a Scottish tartan pattern.

Love the sculpt and paint work!

Congratulations on nailing the 1960s Batman look. The colours look spot on. Great paintwork throughout. These caricature models can be difficult to paint and not have them looking toylike. Yours looks great.

I tried to look up Resin Maniacs, I could find some YouTube, Patreon and Facebook, but no website otherwise. As I don’t have Facebook or Patreon accounts I couldn’t see much. Where did you get the kit, and do you know if there is a catalog or list of what they have?

Sorry, I don’t have that information. I got it from the producer on FB. I know they are a vendor at WonderFest each year in Louisville, KY.

That’s so cool/cute! You did an amazing job on those plaid shorts and shoes. Any plans for other Super Heroes?

Depends on what they come up with. I know they also have a Baby Hulk kit…

VeeDub, that’s another cool figure kits but I’ll be honest my first thought was that it was “Little Green Sprout” from the Jolly Green Giant!!

This is Kool like Keith! Very nice paint on this and love the Chuck Taylors

That’s exactly what I thought too!

That’s a super nice paint job on that bat-boy, @veedubb67. The plaid pattern across wavy fabric is quite impressive.
