Here’s my newly built Lindberg Hawker Fury built OOB painted with Vallejo and rigged with EZ line. For it’s age it’s a pretty good kit with no fit issues.
Beautiful work! You really nailed the clean look of the “between the wars” RAF!
Fantastic job on this vintage kit. I’ve heard from several modeling friends that these classic Pyro/Life-Like/Lindberg biplane kits are actually very good builds.
Thanks guys. I have several more in the stash.
Ahoy Dave, This Fury looks great and makes me jealous. I have one in my deep stash but am reluctant to tackle it because of the rigging. You make it look easy.
That looks fantastic! I remember lindberg kits from when I was a kid. You sure did a fine job on that oldie.
Great looking build! I love when we build vintage kits with today’s knowledge. They come out looking waaaaay better than they ever could of back in the day.
@Fisherman_Dave it looks amazing. How did you attach the EZ line?
Tiny dots of thick super glue on the model and dip the EZ line into some accelerator.
Thanks for sharing your method. That would make it so much easier.![]()
Looks great, you did a good job on that. My memory of Lindbergh kits dates back to the 1960s and at the time I thought they were dreadful kits.
Some of them are dreadful but they all have a lot of flash and cleanup, I have built most of the boat kits and a few of the aircraft kits.
