Looks like AI did some good work but the wheel side walls on the LAV need to be dirtier…
I agree the sidewalls should have some dirt, but that is an easy fix. overall I like them
sometime you need to give us some shots of the whole collection
Overall he did a great job. I see a couple of painting errors on the M548A1 that can be easily fixed. First of all, the right taillight should not be painted red. Only the left lens is red, as seen in this photo:
Secondly, the outside light of each headlight cluster is the service drive (regular headlight). He has the left side inside light painted silver. As seen in this photo:
Lastly, the horn on the right side headlight cluster does not look right. I can’t tell if he tried to paint it thinking it was a light. It also sticks out beyond the headlights, but should sit back behind the headlights. As shown in this photo:
Fixing this might be more trouble than it’s worth.
Note: photos of the actual vehicle were taken by me.
Still missing the mark on basics.
Command vehicle with no antennas.
Silvering on the decals.
Major ejector marks on the 548’s tailgate.
Seams on all the shells.
Many thanks for all kind comments, compliments and suggestions! I’ll pass them on to A.I.
dostocos said that “sometime you need to give us some shots of the whole collection”. I wonder whether he has seen this page:

It provide wide-angle view of my display cases & show room.
My god, model maniac, that is an amazing collection!
One thing I noticed, however is that there doesn’t seem to be any tags or name plates next to the models to show what they are–you should organize them by either era, dates, or countries, and give them all nameplates so that when people come to look at them they have some idea of the context of the tanks that they are looking at.
Pretty amazing, for sure!
Yup, more 6-foot gems. Get closer though, and they have all sorts of issues with construction (tail gate is upside down on the M548), accuracy (grips and buttstock on the weapons should be black, not wood), and weathering (inconsistent mud on tracks and wheels). Ho hum…More of the same…[zzz][zzz]
Many thanks for your kind comments and suggestions, the doog!
You’re not the first one to suggest about tags or name plates, I’ve thought it over before. But my finished kits run in the thousands not hundreds, so producing name plates for them all would be a very tedious jobs and the name plates need some space too while I’m running out of it.
Organizing the models is also a difficult thing because new models keep being built and the allocated space for each category won’t be enough for long. Wish I had much more space…
