LAV-150 COMMANDO WIP

it’s together. i still need to weather it some, more to hide mistakes than beat it up to bad. also needs a dull or semi overspray. cut little thing.

Coming along very nicely! Looks good. [Y]

Looking real good… looking forward to see it weathered. [Y]

Looks like the strip/repaint was the way to go. [Y]

IT’S DONE. time to put it away before i overdo something. what was it someone here said about waethering “if you think it’s done it’s probably too much?” it’s a modern vehicle so i didn’t want to beat it up too bad. i used powders for the weathering. we have a local contest on the 24th so i will enter it.

thanks for all the suggestions and comments. i learned a lot and got a lot of practice in. on to the dak sdkfz-222 (which i will start a WIP) and MAS boat.

Congrats on getting this one across the finish line and best of luck at the competition! [B]

[dto:] Weathering looks just right for a modern armor! Good luck [Y]

Been off the grid a bit here lately so I missed this 'un.

Despite the problems I think it turned out pretty well. !http://th1101.photobucket.com/albums/g439/exatera/smileys/th_EMOTICON_SERIOUS.pngI like it.

Let me suggest that you consider the finish on that chain hanging off’fa the front. Looks too shiny in my opinion… !http://th492.photobucket.com/albums/rr285/croatoan5376/Emoticons/th_smiley_emoticons_ninja-hide01_black.gifshould have a dark & dusty finish maybe.

i’m happy with it and overcoming and learning from the problems. the chain was last minute for monthly meeting. i can easily fix it and have it ready for show on 17sep and contest on 24sep.like editing, it’s always good to have someone “who isn’t too close to the project” look at the final product.
