i’ve added some pics of my work for november on the Rotating Service Structure
another month has gone by and i’ve posted some update pics for december. More work is done on the RSS.
Man… I don’t know what to say. Nothing I can say can do this work right.
Are you an architect or something ???
well its a new year. and i still have a lot of work to do but i posted some pics of my launch complex as it stands for a test fit.

also some progress pics for january.
SUPERB!!! Great inspiration source. thanks for sharing it with us
Astoundingly good work! My advice is, don’t change anything, except maybe adding a shuttle.
They HAVE TO feature your work in FSM!!
and call up a movie company: they can make a shuttle movie without building a miniature!

WOW!?!!?! that’s amazing infimurf!! awesome job, really great work. keep postin up your progress, wed love to see it completed
Well done. I wish my skills were that good. Can’t wait to see the finished model. Keep up the good work
fantastic work! have you thought about a soyuz launch pad when your done with this amazing feet of model work?
well who knows whats next… at the rate i get things finished i’ll be retiring before i get this one done.
id really love to do them all…merc gem apollo.
i’ve also thought about doing another shuttle one…doing it ‘right’…i did miss a lot of things with this one. I guess i’m a perfectionist.
Okay, I’m impressed. I am new to doing dioramas (actually, I haven’t got all the parts yet to even start [:P] ). I was excited with the idea of doing a small one. Yours takes the cake.
By the way, how much styrene and plastics have you used to date? I see alot of packages, scraps and pieces in your pics, and the thing looks heavy. I specially like the rounded ladder-wells on the last pic (01/04/05) “The Weather Protection System on the RSS.”
i probably have at least $1,000 in styrene in this by now .
the RSS weights about 15 pounds and the FSS another 5 and the MLP about 15 (its wood inside).
then there comes the pad surface itself…which i started with two 4x8 sheets of plywood. im going to cut that down a bit just because its so large.
I am impressed with the size of your project! [^]
Nice job! Looks realistic!
AMAZING!! nice job indeed.[tup] later.
What could I possibly add that the others haven’t already said. I am amazed and my hat is off to you; truly a magnificent job.
[wow]Thats a lot of money…
cheers mike

“I’m not worthy…”
