Well heres is my latest project. I am normally a tread head but wanted to try a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. Its the old Monogram kit that I got at a swap meet. Im building it pretty much OOB with just a few add ons. How does it look so far? Im not happy with the chrome foil. I used model masters which was thicker and stickier than I am used to. Thinking of redoing it. What are your thaughts?

Looks good so far. I’m scared to try the metalizer thing yet. I’ve a 66’ Mustang, & 67 Chevelle waiting on a little TLC. Still working Jr’s car right now.
It wasnt the metalizer paints. I used Model Master chrome foil. I would not suggest it
DUDE! I’M RIGHT THERE WITH YA!!!
I just recenetly picked up some Model Master Chrome BMF and I hate it!
The thing was though, I felt that it was *thinner–*and a lot harder to work with! I hate, HATE the glue that they use on it–what a PITA! I found that it ripped a lot easier, and was a lot harder to burnish down as a result—I’ll never purchase it again.
Bare-Metal BMF is the way to go!
As far as your SuperBird goes, I think it looks fine, to be honest!
Haven’t tried that either. One method at a time. Thanks for the heads up though, cross that one off the list of things to try. (in the modelling world)[:-^]
Wow!! A project five years in the works!!
