Has anybody here ever seen any plans for this proposed ultra heavy panzer? It was supposed to wield a 800mm howitzer, two 150mm howitzers, and several MG151 autocannons. If I recall correctly, it was to be manned with a 100 man crew and propelled by four submarine diesels. I just want a reference resource to get an idea as to what it was to look like.
Check out a goofy book I read called My Tank is Fight, by Zack Parsons (New York: Citadel, 2006). It details many “what if” weapons of WWII, mostly German but also some Soviet, Japanese and American, with detailed drawings, hypothetical tactical uses, and a lot of humor.
IIRC, the Landkreuzer is in there.
Your library may stock it; it’s Dewey number should be 623.09044.

Best I could find. Hilarious concept.
Just google it, man! It comes up (landkreuzer P 1500) and then go to the 5th post down, to the book’s title. Click on it ti see an accurate scale drawing–it was actually a land-crawler SP–and the gun it carried was no less than the DORA!
Scale down the page and it has a scale comparison to a King Tiger–that thing was HUGE!!!

Want to give a proper link? I can’t find that
Oh, you’re not gonna make me type this are you? (I can’t cut-n-paste on my forums!?) OK, here goes…
Well I hope I got it all! And I hope it works–if not maybe I can cut-n-paste it to your email?..Have fun typing that in![swg] Let me know if it works!
Don’t worry 'bout copying. This is a bit of a drag but it’s what I did. Just highlight it and DRAG it to a word document where it’ll come up. [party] TaDaaaaaaa!
[^] Of course though… [#toast] “I” have a MAC!
Isn’t this interesting?

Sorry doog, [BH] but all your typing was in vain. Those infamous words… “Not Found”.
Yep! That’s all I got, too. “Not Found” I don’t have a Mac, just a GI Mule, mostly get the dreaded red X’s when looking at posted pictures on these things. The P.1500 Monster was a completely different animal from that itty-bitty P.1000 Ratte mentioned above. It was supposed to have weighed 25,000 tons. Bridge crossings were pretty much out of the question but it was supposedly to have been high enough for fording fairly deep water. It would have been something to see coming up over the horizon. It would probably cause opposing forces to just to head for the hills (as long as the hills were over 25 miles away!)
I found this:
