The forum is slowing down a bit, lets talk planes. A couple of my upcoming projects. I’m about to start on this Otaki (white plastic), that I paid an arm and leg for, and hopefully soon after or at the same thime the Eastern Express kit I just picked-up. I’m kind of sure EE somehow copied the molds from the Otaki kit because they are very similar with just a few minor differences. A few different panel lines, boxed wheel wells on the EE kit, and the Otaki wings are just a few milimeters longer. Someone on Airlinercafe thought they could possibly have made new molds from an Otaki kit, which is plausible. At any rate, I bought the kit, and I’m gonna build them both, don’t really care who makes it. The Otaki kit will be done as the Stargazer and I have a resin Pegasus missile kit to go with it. The EE kit will use the kit Delta Airlines sheet with some lefyover details from the Nazca Decals detail sheet I got for the Otaki. This is my favorite wide-body so looking forward to the challenges ahead.
