My first Japanese (Proto Type) WW2 plane. The kit is from Hasegawa 1:72
Hope you like the pics
Nice build
Impressive. Did any of these ever see combat? Just curious…
Joe
Thanks guys.
Joe,
This aircraft never seen any combat. The Japanese only completed building two proto types and they both only had few hours of test flight.
Joe, the flying prototype completed three short test flights. It seems they were of 15 minute or so duration and I don’t think the LG were even raised. Ultimately, Kyushu planned a turbo-jet version but fortunately, time ran out for that.

Thanks for the link Texgunner
Clean Shinden! Have you tried the Zoukei-Mura kits of the Shinden?
Nice job on that canard pusher! I have the 1-48th Hasegawa kit, and hope that it comes out as well as yours did when I get around to building it.
Thanks Luft Modeler. Yes I was looking at the ZM 1:48 Shinden but decided to go with Hasegawa kit due to its lower price. I’m looking forward to your build of this magnificent aircraft.
Devil Dawg, I’ve just bought the same kit on ebay and plan to do the Luft 46 camo with it.
Well done!
