jay… looks good so far! some weathering on the upper hull and turret, and definately show us the completed pics… if you are in PA, check the thread about our “field trip” to Aberdeen in April.

You’re on your way Jay. It’s off to a good start. Since you got some dirt in the return rollers and rims, you should dirty up the whole lower portion, since it is the closest to the ground, thus would feel it’s effects first. A nice dark wash would help to pop the wheels out more. Being a monatone color, more drybrushing would help bring out the details. Excellent photos by the way, thanks for sharing.
nice kv-1, 1942 mod/ kv-1C right? is it tamiya of eastern express?
It just looks great!
It looks like the Tamiya Kit…check the Decals for Accuracy…as posted in other posts, their decals say gibberish in translation. Make sure you put a nice wash on that when you are done, I found on my KV-II that the wasH sat REALLY nicely because of all the flat surfaces… just my 2 Cents…Looking good.
thank you guys
greg it is the Tamiya kv-ic

Most definitely needs a wash and some dirt, but it’s on a very good path so far! {:)]
Looking good so far!!
Nice looking model. You did a great job with the black/gray/green blending. The decal really sets it off. So what does it say anyway? [:0]
