Kudos to Squadron!

Hey folks,
A couple of weeks ago I ordered an Academy Komet (wanna do that red scheme) and an Eduard PE set. Well, when I received the PE I noticed the parts looked “funny”. The bag was marked for a Komet but the PE was for the Academy “Dragonfly”. Well I have one of those on deck so no big deal-but I wanted a set for my Komet. Afraid to order a Komet set and receive another Dragonfly set I emailed Squadron-they said “sorry for the inconvenience we’re sending you a proper PE set and keep the other one for free.” On another occasion, I received a kit without instructions and they immediately faxed me a copy of the instructions. Good people there as well as prices and selection.

Yep, good folks. I’ve occasionally goten a phone call from them asking to clear up a point of confusion. For instance, I once ordered a kit that I’d already had on pre-order for a few months, and forgotten about. Squadron called me at work and asked if it was a mistake. Most companies would have just sent me two copies and charged me for both.

I’ve always had good experience with Squadron. They aren’t always the cheapest or the fastest, but if you have a problem they act quickly to resolve it.

Regards, Rick

I agree with that. Currently they are my mail order company of choice. THe people thre are quick to fix any mistakes that are made, and are nice about it as well.
