Any one using this as a finish coat? I was using AS-80 but looking for something cheaper.

I use the generic brand from Hobby Lobby. It’s acrylic and also comes in Satin and Gloss.

I use that too, but be careful what you use it over. At least test it first. I ruined some resin parts when the clear reacted badly with the paint and reacted even worse with the stripper I put them in.
What specific paint did it react badly to? What stripper did it react to?

Thank You Guys, I’ll give it a try. Fortunately, resin is well beyond my skill level.

The paint was gloss black Rust-Oleum that I had let dry for several weeks before spraying the clear over it. I know that it was good and cured before I sprayed the clear. The stripper I used for the resin was 91% IPA.
