kitbashed universal carrier pics.

well its not totally completed and I’ll keep adding updates, but here it is so far:

Very nice so far!
Where did the driver sit in those things?

Nice model, Abrams.

Looks good.

front on the right.

Nice bit of work Abrams [:)]

Not quite the way the Germans did it in the few pics I have seen … but what the heck. Yours looks more stable than theirs.

Thanks for sharing ! [^]

let’s see those pics

the germans had the gun on top where the Bren gun goes

You don’t do things slowly, do ya??! It takes me that long to get the shrink wrap off, drool over the parts, and read the instructions a couple of times!

Are those your “Happy Birthday” sprue cutters in the forground? What make are they??

And it does look very nice.
(Don’t know if you saw, on another thread I mentioned I bought my first M1. But goofed and got the Trumpter. Still, I got it for $15, so I’m not complaining TOO loudly! (Do need to off the tracks, though)

Have a terrific day;

Bill

yep those are the sprue cutters, they are made by citadel modeling

I thought that that would be where they put it, but I like it better this way. besides, I’m going to have 2 brens on the top. (not together, though)

try twin mounted brens

nah, I thought about doing it but I didn’t like it, anyway here’s the latest pic:

Hey, its looking really good, Abrams. All it needs now is some weathering. Great work!

weathering??? I still got a few pieces to go on it still! well, ok, only 3. (just waiting for the paint to dry.)

Looking good, M1!
I can see where the driver sits now. Forgot the Brits sit on the right!
As do the Japanese.(Cars, anyway!)
I still get confused driving on the left side of the road here!

you mean trucks drive into oncoming traffic!!! [:O] [;)]

ok, I’m finished except for weathering, men, and some interior parts.
check out the whole set at http://rongeorge.com/modules/Gallery/models . constructive criticism is always welcome!!!

Very nice. Now if only I could put em’ together that fast!
Happy Birthday by the way!

well its got about 15/16 hours in it. which if it was done strictly in the evenings… a good 5 days. plus I still got another day’s work on it. well, when hunting season rolls around, I’ll only be able to do models in the evenings and sat.'s. thanks for the compliment, okieboy!
