Before the stealth fighter was “known” , snap-together kits appeared in 1/48, and 1/72. Using 1-1/48 scale, and 2- 1/72 scale kits, I bashed this fighter together, and added bits and bobs from the spare parts box: 
For the fighter/bomber, I used 1-1/48 F-15, and 2- 1/48 F-4s:

Here, then is the latest kitbash. A Revell AH-64 Apache Helicopter kit, kitbashed to a Ground Support Fighter, armed with a rear facing rapid fire blaster, and two Sub Atomic Disrupter Cannons. Left side view:

This last, a size comparison between the ground support fighter, and the heavy fighter/bomber 
The large sphere aft of the cockpit, is the focussed translocator reactor, a matter/matter device that produces power by causing two equal masses to exist at the same point, at the same time. The reactor’s lining absorbs, and converts the energy released, to a usable form.
The main engines, and the roll, pitch, and yaw engines, are all inertial, there is no “emissions”, or exhaust. The small roll engines can be seen on the “wings”, extending above and below. The Pitch and Yaw engines are within the fuselage, the mains aft of the reactor, on each side. Computer controlled, the roll,pitch, yaw, and main engines, can lift the vehicle, in any attitude, in any gravity tolerable to humans. The vehicle is capable of vertical liftoff, nose down/tail up flight, and rotation through 360 degrees horizontal, and vertical, simultaneously, as the main, and other engines can each provide thrust in opposite directions along their axis.

The problem with a W.I.P. is taking the photos. My “photo studio”, just happens to be my kitchen. I’d spend twice the building time setting up, and taking down the photo studio. I will keep it in mind, for the next project.
Awesome man. Better than I imagined from your descriptions. And the description of it you designed really ties it together. Make sure you write all that down and your grandkids will be pointing out the parts to their kids someday.

Both builds are very cool, that’s what I like about modelling, don’t like whats out there change it and make it your own, awsome work on your builds.
When I get the urge to do one of these, I go looking for “a kit”. I’ll know the right one when I see it. Then, it’s a process of looking at what it “is”, and deciding what I want it “to be”. I build enough ship, and train models, where everything is what has to be, and where it has to be…these flights of fancy, are my way of “relaxing the rules”, and putting things as I want them, where I want them. I am pleased that they also make enjoyable viewing, thanks.
It’s my hope that my Granddaughters will want to have the models.
