Kit bashing

This is Italeri’s panzer IV ausf.H with dragon trans cover ,final drives, sprockets, fenders and hitch.Tamiyas old 88mm. Flak gun.Comments and feedback are welcome.

Looks like a pretty successful Frankenpanzer to me! Only suggestion I would make (assuming it isn’t just a dry-fit) is to address the gap at the rear hull where the engine deck mates up with the lower hull, otherwise the adaptation looks good. [Y]

yes it is just a dry fit, some unusual warpage that needs to be ironed out. Thanks for stopping by wbill

The cool thing about scratch building is you wind up with something nobody else has (even if there is a factory kit available). Did kind of the same thing with an M-7 Priest and M-36 Jackson and felt the result was well worth it. You’re off to a good start on this unique vehicle. Enjoy!

Pat.

Kind of a strange coincidence that about the time I started with this vehicle Deagon/Cyber hobby released thier kit. It’s been a trip down a different path.If I may ask.you’re hometown there is where the uniquely refreshing beverage by the same name is brewed?

yes …i think it look,s great !!! .

kitbashing …its ok if it all works out.

i do it all the time and if i have the part,s in the right scale …why not ???

no shame in it …i have two trumpeter p-38,s in 1/32 .

and ill use the three motor,s for …one p-40 …and one p-39 … and one for the mk-1 mustang.
