A work in progress. This is my first attempt at a kit bash. It has reached a point where i can paint it. Ive never painted anything that is mostly put together so it should be an interesting endeavor. I’ll probably build a small dio for it. maybe 1/72 scale. It looks a little clumsy at the moment, it is held together with rubber bands.

But I gotta ask, how many mechs died for that puppy? I think I see some Patlabor parts in there, but I can’t ID any others.

ha, well i am not sure. About a year ago i bought a big box of used and abused Gundam/anime models off ebay. Since it was mostly “feddie” type Gundams i didnt bother to try and rebuild them. (i did rebuild the lonely Zeon Z’Gok though) There were some Patlabor kits in there as well as one from something called Zoids. I dont really like feddie type gundams (although a big fan of Zeon designs) so i finally tried a kitbash with all the parts.

That is amazing work! The first picture looked like one of those “Hong Kong over-the-top junk builds”, but with the primer on, it looks fabulous! All of the parts look well integrated into the overall design. It has a kind of steam punk vibe to it. I definitely look forward to seeing it with a coat of paint!
