What are some good paint colors to use in the construction of my King Tiger? The kit did not come with a paint list.

I like Testors Acryl colors. They make a good panzer yellow, red brown and olive green. I use them pretty much to exclusion. I think Tamiya also has similar colors in their line of paints. Most king Tigers were in the three color scheme. The one at Munster Lager (German Tank Museum) is done in the late ambush pattern, very impressive.
If you prefer enamels, Humbrol makes a great ochre for the base and German cammo green and German cammo red-brown. They cover very nicely and are pretty forgiving if you paint with brushes.
I used nontradisional colors for mine and it looks great. I used testor burnt umber (it looks brownish orange), model masters tan, and feild green. I took into acount that in the feild the tank crews thinned the paints with anything they could, petrol, oils, and the like and that must have changed the colors somewhat right?
Anyway they look great.
