yes great job did you use rail weathering solution on the tracks? nice camo
Those tracks do look great! But something doesnt look right… Dont know what it is…
I think it’s just the lack of front fenders on the front of the tracks, but those were removable.
Great job so far on the KT. This is my favourite tank of all time, but, I like the Henschel Turret the best, but, the Porsche one is definately different and you definately did well on the Zimmerit, nice flaking off textures!
[:D]great job on the tiger,i realy like the cammo.[:D]
Nope - used Blacken-it on the tracks. Have also to decided to strip the camo and redo - not happy withe the green
Sure sorry to hear your going to strip this beauty Brian! You have really done an outstanding job with the camo scheme. You don’t think that you might be able to do some lightening of the green with some kind of a filtering wash? I had a similiar problem recently and did a filtered wash with artists oils in titanium white, and was able to substantially reduce the deep dark color of German grey that I had applied on a build! What I did was make a very thinned wash and randomely applied it in small amounts, and then taking a somewhat stiff broad brush worked the washoout in all directions to the point of almost totally blending it out. It’s kind of tricky to do but the results were pretty amazing. Check my thread on the Steyr1500 here in the armor forum you’ll get an idea of what I’m trying to explain. Whatever you decide good luck. Semper Fi, Mike
I used the Tamiya green and its way too dark. I am going to strip and then redo it freehand instead of masking, as I have the fine line crown for my Iwata. I have no experience with washes yet, so I would probably only make it worse.
It looks fine dsotm, you could drybrush it to lighten it or brush pastels on it aswell. Remember that there really is no wrong or right colour. There were so many variation of colour. Unless you are really unhappy with it I would leave it. I think it looks really good.
