King Tiger Henschel turrret - early and late gun mantlet?

Reading the catalogue of Elefant (metal barrels) I found the following item: “G 88 MM KWK 43/3 L/71 + EARLY MANTLET FOR KINGTIGER HENSCHEL”

I got the Tamiya King Tiger Production Turret, and I’m wondering if the mantlet provided in the kit is an early or late one…
Can you help me, please?

well the standard version from Tamiya have the early mantlet, but the Ardenne version have an extra sprue with the late version mantlet.

you can still find photos of late Kingtigers with both mantlets on

I found an update set from “Artisan Mori” which provides a late gun mantle and also a late production turret back hatch. I think to use these items to convert my Tiger II to a late pro one.
