As I was applying the decals, almost finished. It happened, boom it hit the floor. Time for repair now. It was turning out perfect.

Nice save. Which kit is this? I had a KZ400 when I was 18 - I have the Hasegawa KH400 which is close. Wonder if this would be a better starting point.

Bummer…. I do believe it’s happened to all of us, sort of a right of passage lol it still looks great though no doubt but sure is frustrating to say the least.
Ouch! Given the quality of your build (Excellent!), as long as you recovered all the pieces I suspect you will restore the bike to its original glory.
Mostof the motorcycles that I built were Aoshima. I have bought one lately, can’t afford the tariffs. They usually sold over in Japan, Korea
I haven’t done an aoshima bike. I’ve done a couple Tamiya bikes and they are fantastic. I have a couple more in the stash.

Aoshima motorcycle kits are very detailed, most of the time they are molded in color. Never built a Tamiya bike, have to get one.
