"kate" cockpit color

i started working on Hasegawas Kate. and i want to know what is the interior color or what colors can i blend to make it.

you may want to check out http://www.j-aircraft.com/ - its the definite site for researching Japanese aircraft colors

Here’s a mix I found buried in the FAQ at j-aircraft that worked very well:

Mix Polly S Railroad Colors Concrete (not Old Concrete, it’s a different color) with about 10-15% Polly S Interior Green. That will give you almost an exact match for the old Aeromaster Nakajima Interior Green, which was said to be a pretty accurate match for the real color. I found that ~15% Interior Green gave me the best match with the Aeromaster color.

People have also recommended Polly S Weyerhauser Green as a good match out of the bottle, but I thought it was too yellow compared to the above.

HTH.

Thanks guys

I’ve build only one Japanese airplane, it is a Hasegawa 1/72 A6M5 Type 52… I think the Zeke and the Kate must have the same cockpit color… I’ve painted my Zeke’s cockpit interior FS 34102… I’ve seen many pics with this color…

Well, since we matched the old Aeromaster color, why not use our Nakajima Interior Grey-Green, one of 19 Japanese aircraft colors available in our Colourcoats enamels? No fuss, no muss, mixing and guessing. Order item ACJ 04. No minimum order on paints, and we ship worldwide.
