Kaman hh-43f huskie 1/32

Hi Guys,

An old 1/32 model produced in the sixties (Hawk/Testors/Italeri) required a lot of work : new nozzle, improvement of the landing gears, scratchbuilt interior, home made decals… you name it !

But for the figurines, the diorama is entirely scratchbuilt

and is a tribute to William “Pits” Pitsenbarger (medal of honour) who treated injured fighters, evecuated a number of them with the help of the jungle-penetrator of “PEDRO 73” before he was killed by the Vietcong.

Hello!
Lookin’ good! For years I wanted to build something like this, but in 1:72…
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

I do not know if it exist in 1/72. Thanks for your appreciation !

Great job. I need to add a huskie to my collection.

Some really good detail going on with this one Chris. Love the subject as it’s one that I don’t ever recall seeing before.

That Huskie turned out great especially considering the kit that you used. This is another significant aircraft that needs to be redone by a manufacturer.
