Carrol O Conner was hysterical in such a small role. My favorite was Don Rickles.
Excellent comedy, great action, and pretty decent recreations make it one of my all-time favorite war movies, accurate or not.
Yes, I think this is my favorite War comedy movie with What Did You Do in the War Daddy? as second.

After 200 chick flicks, I finally convinced my wife to watch Kelly’s Heroes (been one of my favorites ever since I was a kid). She absolutely loved it, and wants to watch it again! Oddball is classic… great lineup of actors!
Yes this is a great classic. Over the years and numerous disscusions about movies, I usually encounter someone who hasn’t seen it. It’s become my mission in life to enlighten these poor souls. I don’t know how many times I’ve lent my copy out. Everybody so far as enjoyed it thoroughly.
I’m not a huge Telly Savalas fan but I thought his performance was particularly noteworthy.
