What is that thing within the red ellipse?
I think they’re two cylinders, but what are they exactly?.. Thanks a lot in advance. Bets regards.

The two cylinders circled are the engine air filters.
Technically it’s called a Filzbalgfilter… (they couldn’t just call it a “filter”) lol! According to Doyle’s book it was introduced on the G version in May 43 and discontinued from the H in Feb 44.
