Just a few shots from school..for reference

HUH?[%-)] School? What school? I’m lost, could you explain where the photos were taken?

looks to me like AF Security Police School perhaps???.. many moons ago, by the uniforms worn.

Yeah, Air Scouts playin’ Army…[:D]

The above is covered under the Interservice Rivalry Act of 1947…

That’s all you Army guys do anyway, play…[;)]

Remember, when it absolutely positively has to be destroyed overnight, call 1 800 Marines, it’s what we do…

The above is also covered under the Interservice Rivalry Act of 1947…[:D]

[:-^] to quote old Ronnie… “there you go again…”

I just seem to remember in most recent forced entry combat actions, the first boots on the ground came from the sky under parachutes… and they werent Marines [swg]

Ahem If only I coulda passed the physical to be a Marine but alas no matter how hard I tried my head would not fit into that dog gone jar.

Of course I flunked the aptitude test when I demonstrated the ability to duck.

I said Hoo-ah! instead of oooo-rah! (OOO-rah is the sound happy cheerleaders make.)

Was taller than amphibian poo-doo.

Figured out faster promotions, more time off and less Navy equaled out to a lot more ladies.

Could drink alcohol without getting into a fist fight. ( With myself)

Oh I could go on and on. 1947 huh?

Oh yeah and we get to wear cool hats!

Looks like San Antonio to me. Late 70´s early 80´s. When you need to take a town like Falluja house to house who do you send? There´s a reason for that. I´m an old devil dog myself but I honer em all. From the one kicking doors, the one working more in three days on a carrier deck than folks do in a week, the ones flying halfway around the globe and back, the ones watching for days. And rightly so for the ones who come when you get hurt. Hand Salute! Semper Fi!

Try to read past the Marine propaganda… you will learn that the ARMY also fought in Fallujah…and the Air Force was there up above providing CAS (probably Navy fast movers too). It was a team fight there… not just one branch. Just like the Battle of Hue or Okinawa, the Corps likes to think those were all theirs, but there were a lot of friendly forces on their sides. That mentality gets old.

But yes, my hat is off to all who take that oath and put their hides on the line for the Consititution, no matter what uniform.

That´s what I was trying to say, they all take a special breed. Without one the other couldn´t get nothing done.

Mac

Well without the Marines the Army wouldn’t have and worthy adversaries at all. [(-D]

What is funny is a retired Gunny just got on my job. ( 3 Man crew) The third guy is a young 22 year old fellow. Poor kid has to wear ear plugs cuz we get pretty bad.

There are two kinds of people in the world.Marines and those who wished they were.
