Last Christmas, I was given a Dragon 1/48 Ju-88P-1 (with PaK-40) as a gift from a (female) cousin that wanted to do something good…but didnt know that I dont usually build WWII
Anyways…
So I’m chatting with someone in the ARC chatroom this morning, and we somehow get on the topic of this Ju-88P-1. He somehow…convinces me that I should build it, but after some searching on Google the only pictures i can find are the pictures of the Dragon kit and a site in Russian that no-one can read
Does anyone know any details about this plane? and are there any ‘interesting tales’ about specific aircraft?
Green’s “Warplanes of the Third Reich” is a pretty good reference for any WW II German aircraft, and it has two pages and also 3-views of the Ju88P. Black and white photos only in this book. Green did not include color references. It is not in print that I know of, but is worth looking for.
Those first several pics are really nice. I am going to be (attempting to) do the winter camouflaged example from the Dragon kit decals. However, I think I am going to need two 1/48 Swastikas…as none come in the kit.
