how many paint schemes are there for a JU-88 and what was most widily used.I have a JU-88 to built and would like to see any schemes that you all might have.thanks Digger
Well, for a plane that filled so many roles, in so many areas and for so long, the schemes are endless!!! The most common would be RLM 70/71/65, I would guess. The North African and Med schemes are pretty dapper - I have a 1/72 Ju88 waiting to be built, and its gonna be splinter of RLM 79/80/78, based in Sicily, using a Techmod decal sheet. It has some nice desert schemes. Of course, it depends if you’re making bomber/nightfighter/etc…
Hope you find a scheme you like, and enjoy.
Here are eight pages of wartime photography. Although they are B&W, you can get an idea of the different schemes. Some have additional “squiggles” applied over the camo, usually in RLM 76.

Hope this helps.
you may go to http://aircraftresourcecenter.com/, in the gallery section for JU-88 you´ll find a variety of paint shemes for that aircraft.
