Ju-52

Very cool. I have the MPC kit on the shelf waiting to be built. Does anyone produce decals to render the Ju-52 from “Where Eagles Dare”? Or could anyone recommend decal sets to pull together the appropriate call letters?

Thank you cabrown 1 you can use black lettering decal sheet in 1/72 the markings on the movie ju 52 looks like an after thought that’s my appinion

Looking forwardto seeing that paint go on, a nice comparison piece there.

cab, the markings on the movie aircraft don’t look like they follow standard German pratice, they look to small and all are in black. I think you would just have to look for a letter set in the right font.

thanks Bish Im liking this tamiya paint so far it thins well and dont clog up my airbrush either.

Bravo, excellent build of an excellent subject.

thank you Tojo phase two masking is done ready for black green. Thats it for now . Merry Christmas!!!

painted with tamiya blk green this stuff is pretty good !! so far. still needs some touch up here and there.

I didnt like the way the dark green tamiya looks, to me its too olive so I remasked and sprayed tamiya deep green over the dark green some touch up but thats that.

Awesome splinter camouflage. It looks absolutely stunning!

yes I agree that the deep green looks better as well, nice job, good eye.[Y]

Nice splinter camo! Both shades of green look great to me.

thank you Toshi, Jay Jay and Mopar madness. wraped up camo waiting for gloss clear going to stick with my guns in using tamiya acrylics

gave this thing 3 coats of tamiya gloss clear ! man that flat paint ate it up and the corrugated surface still need to to the underside

Great looking paint job

That looks really nice, that gloss coat really makes the splinter stand out.

Thankyou Bish that me 109 is moving along nicely btw.Well my decal sheet for this kit wont come in untill th 30th bummer but been working on the small stuff gives the clear coat time to dry lol !!! Sorry Tojo thank you

tested enamel pin wash on the rudder it makes the camo even darker Im counting on clear flat to lighten it a bit and stii waiting on decals!

That splinter camo is sharp! Not easily done on a corrugated surface.

started the weathering on the ju 52 still waiting on decals eta is the 30th . used testors flat black over all wash.

Nice weathering on the underside. crown R n7, again, seriously awesome splinter camoflauge!
