i bought this today and in the store it looked ok but when i put it against the water i think nthe contrast in color is just to great but i’ll leave it up to yall please let me know what you think of it.

I think you’re right, the contrast is too great. The backdrop is too dark and looks unrealistically purple. I can’t wait to see your finished SAR diorama. Maybe you could try painting a canvas yourself with changing shades of grey. Maybe a book in the local library about painting landscapes can help you.
