Got to call this one…
Had several more mishaps on this build before I could get these pics up. I wouldn’t consider myself a superstitious person, but this build is going to haunt me for awhile…

Ha ha! It looks good from here!
Your last build has inspired me to get the 1/48 Tamiya P51D off the shelf and back on the bench. Thanks for the comments.
Mobious, Your ki84 came out great. I really like your camo job!
Absolutely! Wow, Never seen this kit built before. Looking forward to this one!
This is where the fun begins right?
Your tank is looking great!
Was planning another build. Ordered the 1/48 Hasegawa E8N1. Hopefully it will be here soon.
Can’t resist on adding more stuff and don’t knowing where to stop - naturally I obliged, finishing the main color painting tonight by adding shaders and highlights ![]()
You are making good progress, looks great.
Nice masking job on the canopy and turret. The color has tons of impact and looks great
.
Really liking the color. The tricycle landing gear setup looks great
.
Thanks pal, hope it turns out nice after weathering
Looks like a good start for weathering.
I was wondering if there was a weight included in the Hasegawa kit for the tricycle landing gear?
Hi Mobious
The instruction sheet calls out for a 40gr nose weight, which is not included in the kit. I think I added 40 or 45 gramms and it works, no tailsitter for now ![]()
Wow, that is some impressive build speed TFB79, Especially with all that greenhouse masking! You are looking good!
Your bomber looks fantastic.
Thanks all.
All finish now, unfortunately I messed up the canopy by using the wrong glue.
Two questions:
How can I clean up the cockpit canopy to make it more shiny at this stage? I have already applied final Matt varnish.
Lastly, any suggestions for the bloomed nose canopy part? Maybe brushing over with smoke color from tamiya? I don’t think I can mask it off
