Folks, I have been kicking around the idea of a Japanese themed group build.
Start date Sept 2011
Run time of six months
Japanese subjects from feudal samurai to the Second World War to modern
Cross-overs allowed
Pre-started kits fine as long as they’re under 50% completed
I’m thinking more of military subjects but if anyone wants to do an auto, anime figure, etc let me know we can discuss it.

I could be interested. I do suggest that you shorten the length in time to maybe 4-6 months. People will lose interest and others will procrastinate in starting with such a long time frame. Mine generally run 3-4 months.
Tigerman, I was waffling over the time frame. I like the idea and re-edited to six months.
If anyone should go over no big deal.
hhhmmmm…I’ve never done a T-34, I could do a burnt out one. I could study Rob’s and go from there
Brutus: I was going for a Japanese theme which kinda rules out a T34 unless it’s captured (I’ve seen photos of captured tanks used by the Japanese but never a T34).
If you really want to join a GB there’s a ‘Made in the USSR’ one going on right now. I’m sure they’d love to have another T34.
well then I stand corrected. I saw an article a while back with one being driven by Jap soldiers, I guess an ounce of research is worth a pound of egg on one’s face…
