[?] I just joined this reader forum and wanted to let everyone know that I am quite interested in WWII Japanese aircraft, all types. Can anyone tell me where the best hobby shop(s) are to get the latest Japanese kits? I see many unusual kits listed in British publications, but no one in the US seems to carry them. Can anyone tell me the best way to get some of the more unusual ones? Thanks in advance for the help.
Hello John, and welcome to our group.
I just ordered some things from Squadron, nice people there, but I have ordered all my models from www.greatmodels.com . Only problem I ever had was that they held up a complete order because one item was out of stock. Otherwise, I find their site a bit easier to use. (One bit of advice: when browsing their site, don’t use the “back” button. Click on “continue shopping” instead. Also, choose “In stock items only”.)
Both are really good companies, though.

Hi John and welcome to the forums. There are alot of great places that they have listed above. I also have one to add http://www.modelexpo-online.com/. I have done ALOTTTTTTTTTT of business with them and have had no problems with them. They also have some great deals and sales. Hope to see you around in the forums.
Hey Jnards;
listen to Bob & Stinger the two sites they gave you are the best I’ve ever worked with, the best will be Squadrons though because they are the fastest, and I do mean fastest I was in Iraq and ordered some kits from them (I was on my way out when I ordered) and it took me two days to get home and in the mail was the order waiting for me so they are the fastest I’ve seen
