This is my Jag Mk. II painted with 3 coats of Polly Scale CSX Blue and 3 coats of Tamiya TS-13 Gloss Clear with a Tamiya AS-25 Dark Ghost Grey interior. I used Bare Metal Foil in place of the metal transfer strips that didn’t want to stick.
Nice job Mike! Keep up the good work.[t$t]

Cool! I had a 4.0 S-Type 10 or so years ago and they front end gives a nod to this saloon.
I love it. There’s an elegance to the old Jag that’s not to be found in more contemporary cars. What kit is it?
Very nice!
Nicely done. Is it the Tamiya 1/24th kit?
Thank you guys!
This is the Tamiya Jaguar Mk. II Saloon model kit in 1/24th scale. It’s a great kit!
Nice! My Dad had one of these in the 1960s, or a version of. It looked a lot like this. He picked it up cheap and later sold it cheap. I imagine it would be worth some money today. That thing was built like a tank. It had a beautiful wood dash, and a cool button you’d push to start the car.
Hmmm.
Reminds me of one in BRG I had . The only difference was mine must’ve been older . It said Jaguar on it but it has a more verticle grill . Looked kind of like a downscale Bentley !
Definitely looked regal when clean and those Rudge wires gleamed in the sun !
Sweet!
Mike, that’s a gorgeous bit of work!
That color has a jewel-like quality…just like on the real thing. [:D]
Thanks guys! Isn’t it funny how we can mix and match the types of paint for a certain build. I have seen this model in several colors, but not in blue.
