Jagdpanther finished

Here is my 1/35th Tamiya Jagdpanther, build straight from the box (with one addition- Tamiya’s photo etched Panther grill set.) I still need to add some tow cables. The ones Tamiya provided are too short. You can see bigger pictures in the gallery at photopic.com- http://jasonwest7529.fotopic.net/c307100.html

It’s Sooooooo purddie Jason. Just love the beast. Hope mine comes out half as nice. Think I’ll go back and take another peek at yours. Semper fi, mike

Very nice Jason, I enjoyed looking at these.

Cheers

Mo

Thanks, mike. The kit is wonderful! Goes together so easy. I still need to add the driver to it and tone down the wash on the hatch doors.

Thanks, Mo. Just wastin’ time until the Bulge and Tiger builds start

Beautiful build, Jason. It’s a gem.

Jason, Very nice. Really a clean and tight build. Can’t wait to see yor King now.

Thanks Ted and DJ. Speaking of the King, I just got my King Tiger stuff in the mail today and an e-mail saying my Tiger barrel was shipped.

Jason,

VERY nice. I like the weathering. The scuff marks are very convincing and subtle. Terrific work…

Kenneth

Thanks. I used some techniques picked up from Moses and wbill76 (Thanks guys!). Once I was done beating it up, I dusted Tamiya buff over everything to tone it down.

Nice work on this one Jason, a real beauty! Great work on the camo pattern and weathering, it all ties together very well. [tup]

Really sweet Jason. You did a nice job on the track sag also, pretty tough for vinyl. I also like your cammo.

Jason very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

thanks guys. I think I have the sag with Vinyls down. I drill a few holes in the hull and glue some straightened paper clips in there poking out just enough to reach about half way across the track. They get painted the same color as the tracks and get tucked into the track joints. A little superglue on the tops of a few wheels and thats about it. much quicker than indies, if you are in a time crunch (shameless plug of the Totally Insane 1/35th build)

You did good Jason, very nice job on the painting/camo.Digger

I like it. Scuff marks on the side skirts look particularly good. thanks for sharing!

Wonderful job on that Jadg, Jason. Good work on the camo.

thanks ex949 and Dwight!

Thats one hot number, i like it and ya know what? i like Panthers alot too and all forms.

AFD, if you haven’t built Tamiya’s Jagdpanther yet, go out and get two. They are absolutely fantastic
