Hey all…
About a week ago I was working on my 1/72 Haseqawa panzer IV ausf. F1 kit and somehow I lost one of the road wheels. I had the model in my hand and I was walking around the house browsing for a tool then I came back to my room and discovered that one of the road wheels were missing. I spent a good two hours looking for this thing and had no luck. I know for a fact, I’ll never find it again. It’s probably gone forever and ever and ever and ever and ever… lol
It happens all the time. Buy the same kit and that missing roadwheel will show up. It never fails…
no its not gone forever
it will turn up when you’ve had enough of the kit and shashed it or when you get a replasment wheel
I’ve got a Revell Panzer IV roadwheel lying around if you want it…
That’s very kind of you, but I’m sure I’ll be able to find a replacement.
I know if I smash the heck out of it, the missing wheel might reappear [:D][}:)]
Do you have any pets? Maybe you can interrogate it. [}:)]
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost a piece of a model in my ‘model room’! Fortunately I have a broom and a dustpan. If I search (sweep the floor) long enough I usually find the part I’m looking for. Hardly ever fails, so that any more if something is missing I just get the broom out, without thinking, and start sweeping. Sure enough it’ll show up. Sorta of an opposite to Murphy’s Law.

What I like to do is buy a kit to replace it with, build the second kit, but don’t take your time, throw it together. Then take out to the back yard and blow the cr*p out of it.[:-,][:D]
um … my hunch … from experience … the cat has it hidden somewhere … I feel certain that some day … I will find their cache of “lost” model parts … [swg] … [^]
Do what I do when it appears to be lost forever find a panty hose put it over the end of a small shop vac and volia! it is held in place by the suction. Its amazzing what else you find when you do this.
Tanks lost road wheels… But like Michael, I have a spare Revell roadwheel or two to give away…
i lost a road wheel on my churchill, took me a while to find it. turns out it was caught between the spurs in the box, so when i would lift them up look in the box, i would not see it.
If your house is anything like mine, in a coupla weeks you’ll trip over a toy, feel a strange pain in your face and find the wheel embedded in your cheek.[B)]
Sorry to hear about the your little problem. I hope you are able to get a replacement road wheel.

have you found it yet[:D]
Murphy´s law :After you finished your model, you will find the roadwheel inside the vacuum cleaner.
Cheers

I think it’s a safe bet to say that if I ever found all of my lost pieces, I could make a tank with 50 wheels!
