Well, recently I just finished my first airplane model in about 20 years. I justs wanted to share a couple of pics. I know it has alot of problems, but at least it’s on the “finished” shelf rather than the “other” shelf! I think My next project is going to have a more simple paint job.
Here are a couple of pics (sorry for the quality)
Many of the tips and techniques I used on that model, I learned here. So thank you all for your advice! I still have a long way to go though…
i love it benzdoc. looks great! i love lookin’ at other peoples work. wished i had some other pics to posts. this forum is great! keep it up man. later
P.S. just lookin at your user name. are you a doctor that owns a Benz?[:D]
I think you did a very nice job. Good job on panel line definition, nice exhaust staining, don’t see any decal silvering going on. Choice of colors looks fairly accurate, camo pattern looks good. Looks like something you should be proud to display. I have to assume you are apologizing for the quality of the pictures (but they are not that bad either) and not the model.
Hey Benz,
Sweet lookin 109. First a/c model you say in about 20yrs? I too was wondering how did you do the mottles?
Over all build is very nice.
BTW are you a docotor that does check ups on benzs?
Flaps up, Mike
