Hey Guys Terry here at last. I’m seeing the light at the end of a an absolutely horrible tunnel. I’m almost done with this wretch of a kit. I hope Comet, Glyn you like the pics but in all honesty its a piece of crap. I had to struggle with bad fit of parts and broken resin parts as well as missing bits which I had to copy by scratchbuilding.
I found that reference was very thin on the ground, but Italeri did mention the retention of the 4 wheel steeering from the armoured car. and one of their photos suggests the movement of the front and rear wheels while steering. To get this effect I just bent the wheels around and got roughly the right alignment. At this stage I didn’t care if the thing fell apart or not as I didn’t need much of an excuse to bin it.
Thank you for looking, all comments good and bad welcome.
Regards,
Terry Burke.

You’ve made a good job from a bad kit there Terry, well done[:)]
I’v still not been able to bring myself to finish mine yet, just gonna wait till I’m feeling really bored[:D]
In all honesty Glyn I haven’t really started weathering it yet but one problem will be the wide open spaces. I’m going to have to get as much stowage in as possible. If I had forseen the problems I would have binned it sooner. I think its only good for spare parts.
Thanks for the kind words,
Regards,
Terry.
Sorry to hear of your woes Terry.
