Generally speaking, I like Italeri. The fit and finish is decent enough IMHO, and they don’t have too many fit problems. Reasonable price, and reasonable detail levels.
It depends on the kit. Some of their older releases like the M47 are excellent. Others, so-so. Overall, I like them. However it seems the prices are getting a bit too high. I mean, $40+ U.S. for the AB41 armored car?! I can wait awhile and pick one up at a show or swapmeet for $15-$20.
