Just bidded on an Intaleri HE-111Z Zwilling for $15.50, can anybody tell me if this kit is any good or not? And maybe some tips on it (Such as “This piece needs sanding, blah bla”)
Sarge-my experiences with Italieri can be summed up with: good-not great but they market unusual subjects. You may need some elbow grease but it’ll be a good kit.
Ya, thats what i get from others. This is an out of Production kit, and the start bid was $9.99! I got lucky on that one [:D]
Are you sure it’s OOP ? It’s in this year’s catalogue.
The box has Limited edition on it, and the guy has had it in his stash for the past 12 years, so i assumed it OOP

Hey Sarge-sorry to burst your bubble, but the HE-111Z was actually produced and flown-I believe to tow the Gigant-although the Gigant was later powered with captured Gnome-Rhone engines-but there’s 2 more Italeri kits to look for.
Yes, i know it was flown, but in my book thats danm near a Luft 46 kit just by the look.
