I recently finished this, a straightforward little kit and built mostly out-of-box, except for a replacement resin winch and a few minor details. Biggest challenge was the masking/painting, especially aligning the black edging stripe with the painted areas.
Very nice. It looks great. I know how much a hi-vis white/red or orage scheme can be. Yours turned out great though.
Excellent job. That’s a tough paint scheme to pull of and you nailed it. I did the ancient Revell H-19 with floats as a coast guard bird as well but in the MUCH easier all over yellow. Well done.
